It all began on Saturday 24th November at the rediculously unsocial hour of 8am in the car park of the Saxon Mill pubic house on the Coventry Road Near Warwick.

All the teams congrigated with their vehicles and their wooley hats, to size up the oppostion and generally intimidate the organisors for the unhealthy start time. Once aquainted and suitably motivated the fun could begin.

Sitting in their vehicles, each team was given a starter quiz. This quiz served to 1/ wake them up, and 2/ stagger each team's start preventing one team from following another.

The starter quiz contained 10 multiple choice questions which they HAD to get correct before they were given their instructions to continue with the rally. The snag being that when they had answered all the questions, they were only told HOW MANY they had answered correctly but not which ones.

Despite minor teething problems (doh!), the quiz served it's purpose and each team completed the quiz successfully at different times.

On successful completion, each team was given a different set of directions as to where they could pick up their rally instructions. The rally was underway!
